It is exciting to announce that initial rehearsals for the performance piece “Days of Creation” have commenced, with several being held in the chapel spaces. Performances of the finished work are planned for April or May. It will feature two aboriginal performers, including Kiara Malcolm. The work features texts from early world cultures, and narrates through experimental mixed techniques of song, action, music, poetry and immersive images the becoming and contemporary portrayal of the earth. This is a beautiful, striking and significant piece with great potential for wider audiences, and it is a source of great pride for it to be associated with the chapel.
